Karaoke Contest @ MusiPlex September - November 2008
There will be four qualifying nights. (Think of these as audition nights). September 16th, 23rd, 30th and October 7. Anyone wishing to participate in the contest must sing on ONE of these qualifying nights for their chance to gain entry to the competition. Various number of contestants will be chosen on these four nights depending on the amount of entries. The chosen singers will move on to the competition starting October 14th.
- The contest will run from October 14th to November 25th.
- Contestants MUST attend each week or they will be automatically disqualified.
- Each week a number of contestants will be removed from the competiton based on judging and audience vote until the last 5 remain on November 25th for the finale. The finale will be located in our Event Center on our Budweiser Big Stage with full production and lighting !
- There will be judging on performances each week and each audience member will be allowed one vote per night. The contestants with the most combined points from judging AND audience votes will move on to the next week. This will be the process each week and will eventually determine the winner on November 25th.
- There may be themes for certain nights and the contestants will be asked to sing songs based on the theme chosen.
- Contestants may bring their own cds or are able to choose from the karaoke selection offered.
- Our judges will be selected for their knowledge of Music/Voice and their votes will be FINAL.
Prizes to be awarded:
GRAND PRIZE - $1000.00 in cash and prizes with a minimum $500 being cash.
Our sponsors may also elect to award consolation prizes to finalists

Musiplex offers four modern well equipped lesson studios for keyboards/piano, guitar and bass, drums and vocals. Each studio is equipped with a/v equipment, instructional videos as well as acoustical treatment.
Musiplex has a comfortable waiting area with vending machines, tables and seating for a number of occupants. Instruction is one on one with instructors with experience in all types of music and diciplines. Watch this page in the future for special group programs for children and adults alike.
